Important Updates on COVID-19

Dear GEMt Participants, We at GEMt are doing our best to ensure the safety of all participants and team members as our highest priority. We are taking extra precautionary measures to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene during courses, and therefore participants & Instructors are advised to:

Wash hands, use gloves and hand sanitizer regularly and as indicated throughout the course.
Wipe down and disinfect all treatment beds after each session of practice.
Use correct cough and sneeze etiquette, i.e. into a tissue or their elbow and then wash their hands
Refrain from attending the course if any of the following apply:
- Recently (previous two weeks) returned from an overseas location to Australia (Note: this may change, and we endeavour to be up to date with the latest national guidelines).
- You have been in close contact with someone who is a confirmed case of Coronavirus.
- If over the previous two weeks you (or someone you are in close contact with that has returned from overseas) have experienced any of the following symptoms:
  1. Fever
  2. Flu-like symptoms, e.g. coughing, sore throat and fatigue
  3. Shortness of breath
If you are unwell, do seek medical attention immediately and ensure to obtain medical clearance before attending any GEMt course
The GEMt team reserves the right to prevent anyone attending the class or ask a participant to leave the course if they do not abide by the measures above as our priority is always on the health and well being of all participants & instructors.
