Dry Needling Courses New Zealand

Course Overview

Clinicians looking for dry needling courses in New Zealand can obtain training in the use and application of trigger point dry needling (TDN), by undertaking GEMt’s Auckland dry needling course. This graduate course is designed to give New Zealand GPs, chiropractors, osteopaths or physiotherapists an instruction in TDN; a treatment used by other manual therapists worldwide.  GEMt encourages new graduates to attend as well; TDN is an effective and valuable addition to any skill set. We offer hands-on learning with professional instructors, and 120-page colour course manual.

By using fine filament needles to stimulate trigger points in the body, TDN is an effective and useful treatment for myofascial pain. GEMT’s dry needling course brings together well-renowned needling techniques, from Dr Chan Gunn, and Travell & Simons.

After taking the dry needling courses in Auckland that are offered by GEMt, clinicians will be prepared to use trigger point dry needling to treat all manner of musculoskeletal pain, including such areas as:
  • Hip
  • Shoulder
  • Thigh pain
  • Lower and upper extremities
  • Cervical and lumbar spine

GEMt’s dry needling course in New Zealand will ensure that TDN becomes a valuable addition to your practice’s treatment options. GEMt travels extensively across Australia and New Zealand, in all major cities, and onsite hosting is available for clinics. Onsite hosting is especially helpful to ensure all your staff is up-to-date on TDN, and have a uniform set of skills.

In addition to saving manual therapists the strain on their wrists and thumbs that accompanies other treatment options, TDN has been shown to be valuable in treating chronic and acute orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions. New Zealand’s dry needling course offered by GEMt will allow you to add this treatment used by clinicians the world over to your practice’s list of treatment options.

After the completion of the course, practitioners have the option of being added to the directory of practices that offer trigger point dry needling across New Zealand. This directory, created by GEMt, better allows patients seeking the benefits of TDN to find clinicians offering the treatment.
